Après la partie du 4 janvier 2019, Neil Chabot a avisé la haute-direction des Forestiers qu’il prenait une pause du hockey, ce que la haute-direction a respecté. Quelques jours plus tard, pour des raisons personnelles, Neil a demandé d’être échangé aux Montagnards de Mont-Laurier. Neil était un joueur important pour nous et cet échange ne faisait pas partie des plans des Forestiers mais nous y avons acquiescé par respect pour lui.
Suite à cet échange nous lui souhaitons succès avec sa nouvelle équipe les Montagnards de Mont-Laurier.

After the January 4th 2019 game, Neil Chabot told the administration committee of the Forestiers that he wanted to take a break from hockey and the administration committee accepted that decision from him. A few days later, for personnal reasons, Neil asked to be exchanged to the Mont-Laurier Montagnards. Neil was an important player for us, and this exchange wasn’t part of the Forestiers’ plan but we accepted it by respect for him.
Following this exchange, the Forestiers want to wish Neil a lot of success with his new team the Montagnards of Mont-Laurier.
